Despite all the bombs and rockets, there has been a shift in Hamas discourse, from jihad (holy war) to hudna (truce). The founding charter still demands all of historic Palestine - "from the river to the sea" - but there is acceptance of the 1967 Green Line as the border in a two-state solution. The target is the Israeli occupation, not Judaism.
